Pevonia Botanica Dry Oil Body Moisturiser - Review

Pevonia - Dry Oil Body MoisturiserI was quite excited to be given the chance to try this dry body oil moisturiser.  I am normally a cream moisturiser user and the few oils I've tried in the past have left me feeling greasy and although they may have moisturised my skin I felt like I needed another shower after using them!

After a shower or bath I have been spraying this all over my body and it has left me feeling absolutely silky soft.  There has been no nasty greasy residue and it has absorbed into my skin really quickly.  The oil contains lavender and chamomile and I can't quite put my finger on the scent.  I adore it though, slightly floral, slightly herbal.

This product contains vitamins A, E and D and has other oils like aloe, macadamia nut and lavender in it.  It does feel like it is actually moisturises my skin and that it's doing good and it does last for hours, unlike some moisturisers that provide and instant result but an hour later you feel tight and dry again!

It's really easy to apply, just squirt and massage in and as it is quick drying and easily absorbed it really is a three minute job to moisturise.  The bottle is attractive enough but it is white and made of a strange kind of plastic that seems to pick up dirt and scuff really easily, however the greatness of the product really does far outweigh that little issue!

Like I said, I have never tried dry oils before and I am so glad I have now as I am going to be exploring further into the world of dry oils.  I have since tried using cream moisturisers and they just aren't the same, even my favourite ones have been shunned a little to make room for this baby!  At £28 it isn't going to be the cheapest on the market but you certainly get a decent product for that price, I am pretty sure it will last longer than 200ml of cream would too.
